Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My blood pressure has always been slightly high (high 130 s over mid 80 s), but recently it has dropped to 110 over 68 and I experience light headedness sometimes when standing from a prone position. I also take 20mg of Lisinophril once daily. Mean anything?
Hi, Welcome to HCM, I read your query carefully. As per details, You are taking lisinipril which is ACE inhibitors. These are common side effects of this drug like lightheadedness. As your blood pressure readings are normal or at lower side I would advise you to reduce its dose and take 10mg once a day. Avoid getting up too fast from a sitting or lying position, or you may feel dizzy. Get up slowly and steady yourself to prevent a fall. Regularly check and record your blood pressure. If symptoms remain after a week then visit Hospital.
Hope so it will be helpful. You can write again in case of any query or follow up. Wish you Good health. Regards
