How To Treat Little Knots Of Bite Marks On Ankle Due To Cat Bite?

A cat bit me about a month and a half ago. The bite is on my outer ankle and was pretty bad. I went to the doctor and got a tetanus shot, oral antibiotics, and a prescription ointment. It got better slowly... I could barely walk for awhile bc I guess the cat bit into the muscle or something. The problem is it still hurts a little. There are little knots on each bit mark (4) and then one in between the two biggest bites. The bump in between hurts when putting in leggings. Anything that pulls my skin up like putting on socks, makes it sensitive. Is this normal for this amount of time?

Hi,

You might be suffering from atrophied scar and in such cases fillers are the best choice. Sometimes soft tissue augmentation procedures like injecting one's own dermis into the gap can also be done.

Hope it helps. If you have any other question please do not hesitate to contact us.
