My 71 yr old father had v low bp, when admitted in hospital doctors said heart is pumping 15-20%. Anything can happen anytime. His bp is kept in control with medicines(sodium chloride) He is diabetic, had already 2 minor heart attacks.is there any cure in .wat r the chances of his recovery.
Consult a cardiologist and get evaluated. Serial ECG is required to rule out Brady arrhythmia. If heart rate is persistently low, drugs like atropine might be required.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
