How To Treat Lower Abdominal Pain And Vaginal Spotting While Having IUD?

hello...i have had an iud for about 6 months...lately its a continuous cycle or spotting...sharp pains in lower abdomen and it hurts to pee...kinda like when you have a uti or infection of that type...sometimes i think i feel the iud move...can you help??

Hi there.

You could be having vaginal infection, urinary infection and possibly PID. Drink 2 litres of water daily. Take Tablet Ofloxacin 400mg twice a day for 5 days. Take Tablet Doxycycline 100mg once a day for 10 days. Consult a Gynaecologist.
