How To Treat Mild Arthritis In Joints Of Small Finger On Hand?

I have what appears to be a little arthritis in the distal joint of the small finger on one hand. I did a lot of manual labor so it s probably due to that. Now i m noticing a long indentation in the nail of that finger. Not painful. could this be due to the old in jury?

This condition is called koilonychia. It can be due to old injury. But if you have chronic medical condition as you have mentioned about arthritis then most commonly it is the reason. Treating the medical condition will improve it. For pain you should start with mild pain killers like tablet paracetamol 500mg 1 × PO × stat.
