How To Treat Muffled Hearing Caused After Hitting Ear Accidently?
Hello Welcome in H.C.M. I have gone through your query regarding muffled hearing caused after hitting ear accidently, when you were playing flag football. According to your clinical history it appears as your ear drum had got rupturred because of air pressure of ear canal during hit. Need not to worry as there is tremendous regenerating power of ear drum for such injuries but now you should do- 1- Keep your ear clean and dry (don t put any ear drop or oil in ear ) 2- Took anti inflammatory drugs like diclofenac and serratiopeptidase. 3- Avoid cold and nasal congestion for this took anti histaminic and steam inhalation. 4- cover the ear canal with a cotton plug. About 10 to 15 days are needed for recovery and I hope above treatment will help you but if you feel as you are not recoverring well than consult your doctor. Regards.
