How To Treat Muscle And Joints Pain While Suffering From Alzheimer S Disease?

Hello. I have a question. My grandmother is 87 yrs old with diabetes and alzheimer s. She is at a point where she eats very little and is super weak. She complains that her muscles ache and her joints are weak. Because she is not eating much she isn t taking her medicine. Well today she looks pale. Are we past due in bringing her to the hospital?

Yes, you should consider taking her to the hospital for assessment since she is a known diabetic and has not been eating well because of her alzheimers disease.

Muscle aches and pain , weakness may be due to infection, altered electrolytes because she is not eating well, uncontrolled diabetes.
Blood tests would be needed.
