Hello Mahe
I just read your problem which seems to be very common, particularly with people who take antidepressants. To have least effects of these drugs maintain undermentioned lifestyle which can help you keep our
constipation at bay
1. Drink a plenty of water throughout your day also try to make habit to drink 2-3 glass of water when you wake up in morning. Drink it empty stomach even without brushing your teeth.
2. Instead of taking strong laxative to remove your constipation, you start taking mild laxatives on daily basis which can keep your digestive system at peace. For example take one tsp of isabgol with warm 1 glass of milk daily before going to bed.
3. Do Pranayam. For reference you can follow Ramdev's tips. It will help you for your
depression problem and constipation too.
4. Make a routine to do walk daily for 45 mins. I am not asking you to do brisk walk. Instead I would recommend you to just walk, when ever you feel comfortable, wherever you feel comfortable you walk. Don't miss it at any cost.
5. If possible get your lower legs and stomach massaged with coconut oil before going to bed. Make sure massage done on stomach should be in circular motion and with very light hand.
Try to indulge these tips and enjoy the change.
