How To Treat Nasal Congestion And Headache In Spite Of Taking Cetrizine?

Cold started two days back with running nose and felt feverish inside. Took cetrizine thrice and travelled to hometown. Running nose stopped but suffering from severe nasal congestion and headache. Unable to bear headache pain. Cold has turned green and having severe headache all though the day. Please recommend medicine and intervals it can be taken. I already suffer from Sinusitis.

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that you had an Upper Respiratory Tract Infection that has led to sinus infection and headache seems to be sinus headache..
I would suggest you to consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and he can advise you PNS view of x Ray or MRI of sinuses to rule out the cause of pain and congestion..
He can advise you to take antibiotics like Azithromycin or Levofloxacin, anti inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen, decongestant like Pseudoephadrine, continue anti allergics,steam inhalation, saline nasal irrigation, decongestant nasal spray containing Xylometazoline and use a humidifier in your room..
Avoid chilled foods and air conditioned atmosphere..
