Most of the wasp stings resolve spontaneously without leaving much complications. Analgesic used for symptomatic remedy from pain may cause dizziness and nausea. These can be controlled by ondansetron tab or resolve spontaneously. Again dizziness, nausea, breathing difficulty, light headedness etc may occur due to anaphylaxis after wasp sting which require urgent attentions. If the symptoms are mild and resolving in nature it would not cause much problems. But they have a high chance of anaphylaxis or anaphylactic shock in subsequent bites. Its recommended to carry sting kit containing epinephrine injection for emergency purpose in subsequent bites. Mild to moderate reactions to wasp stings can be treated at home. Cold water application, hydrocortisone cream, tab ibuprofen, tab diphenhydramine may help in this regard. But in severe cases need urgent attention by a doctor.
