Tremors associated with nausea & vomiting is commonly caused by food poisoning, gastoenteritis, indigestion / acid reflux, low blood pressure & low blood sugar. You are suggested to give him anti emetics. Let the vomiting stop. After vomiting has stopped, give him rehydrating fluids, ORS, Soups & home made juice.
You can give him antacids & PPI's (Pan-40, one sos) to relieve him of the discomfort. Give him semi solid food like porridge, oats, custards. He can take hot beverage.
Help him relax & stay away from stress. Let him get adequate sleep. However, you are suggested to get him physically examined in the ER, to rule out any liver dysfunction, PID or any developing CAD to stay on the safer side.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
