Hello Doctor, I ve been having nose bleeds daily for abut 4 years now, I think the reason is because I have a big hole where the nostrils separate. My nose feels very sensitive and I get headaches from it and when I blow my nose usually scabs will come out. Today I blew my nose and pink blood came out. This is the first time it s ever happened to me. Is there anything to worry about?
The symptoms that you have described seems to me like you have a septal perforation. Crusts are getting formed and you have been removing them through sneezing and other methods. Firstly, did you undergo a nasal surgery before? If not, your cause for continued bleeding and for the possible septal perforation have to be throughly evaluated by an ENT specialist. As it has been 4 years, I recommend that you visit an ENT as soon as possible. Till you get an appointment for the visit, avoid blowing your nose and try nasal douching.
