How To Treat Osteoporosis And COPD Despite Being On Duolin?

my mom is 79 years old and she had been on eptoin 200 mg for last 18 years. she has lost her senses in her feet and is prone to osteoprosis. she has developed COPD for last five years and takes duolin every 6 hours. What can I do to improve her health??

Hello,

There is not too much to be done, considering the fact that she suffers from neuropathy and osteoporosis. Another treatment option to eptoin would be Gabapentin, which has less drug interactions with osteoporosis drugs and has good effects on epilepsy and peripheral neuropathy. I recommend also checking vitamin D plasma levels for possible deficiency.
