How To Treat Pain And Stiffness In Left Side Of Jaw And Neck With History Of Irregular Heart Beats, floppy Valve And Arthritis?

I have pain an stiffness in the left side of my Jaw and neck. It hurts to open and close my mouth or turn my head to the left. The pain runs down the muscle or tendon that s behind my ear to my shoulder. It came on suddenly and went away suddenly after about 20 min. Scary! I have been treated for irregular heart beats and a floppy valve in my heart But have been feeling good for months now. I have not been sick or had any kind of flu. I do have some arthritis. I am 67 year old woman.

Hi,
from history it seems that you might be having cervical spondilitis and lax TM joint.
Go for physiotherapy, short way diathermy.
Avoid chewing hard stuff and keep your hand on TM joint while yawning.
Take calcium, vitamin A and D supplements.
Ok and take care.
