Today I was getting out of the pool at work and my hand slipped and my shin hit the side of the pool. It hurt really bad at first and it kept on swelling. There was also a small cut and bruising on the lump. After a little while I started putting some ice on it a few minutes a few times but it burned and the lump was pretty big and red. Right now it doesn t hurt but is there anything else I can do to reduce swelling and possible future pain? Also could there have been deeper damage besides the bruise and swelling?
