How To Treat Pain In Left Knee After Having Cartilage Replacement Surgery?

I had cadaver bone and cartilage replacement surgery 5 weeks ago and still have pain on the inside of left knee . I have osteoarthritis and I m 59 yrs old I have been told that this procedure has low success rate for those 2 markers . My surgeon wanted to try it because my cartilage on the outside is still very good and the knee structure ( ligaments) are all strong but now I understand that chronomaccia of the patella is a problem . Is total knee replacement my last option. Thanks Stan
