How To Treat Pain In Right Abdomen And Chest Caused Due To Cold And Cough?

I have had a nasty cold for almost two weeks now and have been violently coughing because of it. Today, my right upper abdomen, on my rib cage, started to really hurt. I thought that it was just bruised or something from the heavy coughing, but now I notice that the right ribs aren t sticking out like the left ones are and it seems like there may be a dent. I have a school trip this weekend starting tomorrow and I am really nervous

If I was your treating physician I would like to prescribe you Azithromycin, an antibiotic best fit for your condition if not alergic to. Plus claritin 2 times a day, plus a good cough syrup 4 times a day. It helps a lot if added with listerine mouthwash gargles, and steam inhalation.
