How To Treat Painful And Bruised Knuckle On Finger?

I m a 22 y/o female. Got very angry and decided to let go of my anger by hitting a brick wall. Hard as I could. I guess adrenaline had me at first but its been about 2 hours past now and I m in excruciating pain. I can close my hand but with pain, I can t open my hand all the way because the bigger knuckels at the back of each finger just feel like they re going to explode! They hurt so bad. Bruising has already started. The knuckle on my pinky and the knuckle on my middle finer seems to be the worse ones! Ice hurts so bad to put it on them. What can I do? This isn t like me at all so now I m lost. Idk what I can do for this type of pain

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

For pain you can take Tab Ibuprofen after physician consultation. Locally you can apply diclofenac gel and alternative hot and cold packs may be helpful. Give rest and consult orthopedic doctor if not relieved.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
