Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

This suggests an abscess formed there. This needs incision and drainage to empty the pus and antibiotics for 5-7 days. Kindly see your doctor. Meanwhile, keep the area clean and dry. Apply antibiotic creams like mupirocin. Take paracetamol or ibuprofen 2-3 times a day (after food) for pain.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam T. K., Pediatrician
