How To Treat Pneumonia In Right Lung With History Of Cardiomyopathy, While On Antibiotics?
I have Pneumonia in my right lung and have been taking antibiotics for a couple of weeks. I also have constant clearing of the throat and cannot seem to get it all cleared & shortness of breath. I do have Cardiomyopathy to add to the list...Do I need to check into a Hospital or give it more time to heal on its own?
You should definitely consult your pulmonologist. As pneumonia with co morbidity like heart issues is always very serious. So get done chest x ray and sputum culture report. Better to go with bronchoscopy and BAL analysis. This will give you great idea about whats going on inside. CT thorax with contrast can also help. Dual antibiotics should be started. So consult pulmonologist and start treatment as soon as possible.
