How To Treat Prolonged Cold?

i had low grade fever of 99 f in begining of may then around 13th may it went away and now again i am having low grade fever of about 99 F since last 7 days with pain on pressure on the bridge of nose with nasal congestion. i have been having cold since one month. what could it be.i am quite worried... i am 33 years and weight is 65 kgs

Hello,

Your symptoms are suggestive of a chronic infection. For this reason, I would recommend performing some tests:
- A chest X ray study
- A sinus X ray study for sinusitis
- Thyroid hormone levels and anti- TPO titer for possible thyroiditis
- Complete blood count, PCR, ESR for inflammation
- Urine bacterial culture
- Blood bacterial culture.

Further tests may be needed in order to investigate for the possible causes underlying your complaints. You should discuss with your doctor on the above tests.
