How To Treat Purple Discolouration On Legs Inspite Of Using Desonide For Allergic Contact Dermatitis?
Hi, I had red rashes at my legs, probably because of allergic contact dermatitis. I was using desonide cream and vitamin e cream at the area, and today when I wake up I use desonide cream again, then about 4h after that I discover that the red rashes have turned purple. What may happened? Why it turned purple? What can I do?
Desonide belongs to a class of drugs called topical corticosteroids. It helps in treating allergic reactions. Purple or red-colored spots on your skin are called purpura. These spots usually appear due to sub-dermal bleeding or skin hemorrhages. You should consult a dermatologist for further evaluation.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
