How To Treat Purple Discolouration On Right Side Of Eye Caused After Injury?

Goodafternoon, I fell down 5.5 days ago hard on my right side of head on eye area. I have a very purple black eye. The swelling is diminishing with ice compresses, the bruising is just now (today) lifting a little. My concern is this marble size hard knot on my upper right eye under the brow. The swelling around the hard know is also dimishing (slowly) although the hard marble knot concerns me. No out of ordinary vision problems, headaches or sleepiness that I have noticed has happened.......

Hi,

Due to the Injury there is a subcutaneous Bleeding which is resolving on it's own. since there is no effect on your eyesight You don't have to worry about the discoloration and the hard nodule. This will eventually disappear without leaving any scar or permanent discoloration. You can increase the intake of Vitamin C, present in sources like lime juice, Gooseberry, oranges etc. or take Supplement. Things are expected to be Normal in about 3 weeks time.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
