How To Treat Rash Around Jawline And Itchy Spots On Forehead?
Hello! So recently i ve been using many new facial products like mask, scrub, cleanser and massaging oil. I start having rashes. Mainly around my jawlines, some patches on the side of my face and a small itchy spots on my cheeks and forehead. I m also currently in a hotel. Is it caused by the hotel s pillow or the facial products I m using? Is this an allergic reaction? What should I do? Any help would be appreciated :)
As per your query you have symptoms of rash around jawline and itchy spots on forehead which seems to be due to contact dermatitis. Possible cause can be anything i.e. cosmetic products, bed bugs, change in environment.
Need not to worry. I would suggest you to keep this area clean and dry. Apply calamine lotion on rashes to avoid itching. Take Benadryl twice daily. If condition doesn't get better then consult dermatologist for proper examination. Doctor will examine physically along with blood test and sample for lab test, and start treatment accordingly.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
