my husband has a angry looking rash over his body arms and legs. he scratches and is very uncomfortable he has been diagnosed with alzheimers or lewy boby dementia is in a skilled nursing facility and unable to speak for himself many creams have been used also prednisone with little improvement.What can be done to relieve this?

alzemears is a regenerative disease of brain it is in extreme advance form. till now no specific treatment available. nursing care and support from family members is most important.symptomatic treatment for all problem is to be provided. hygiene and sanitation is to be maintained by family members. have a full time nurse to take care of him.
