hi, i am having panic attacks on a regular basis and it is ruining my lifestyle such as sleepless nights, terrible anxiety attacks with the dry mouth and terrible personality, i have just recently obtained a bottle of motherwort tincture but i do no know how to take it? what is your recomendation for a cure or treatment?
Thanks for asking at Healthcare Magic. I read your question and I understand your concern. Panic attacks is diagnosis of exclusion. First cardiac arrhythmias should be ruled out by doing ECG and Echocardiography. Treatment consists of two phases. 1. Psychotherapy 2. Medications like SSRI (flouxetine, sertraline, paroxetine) and Benzodiazipines like alprazolam for temporary purposes. Cognitive behavioral therapy is the best treatment. It consists of several sessions in which you will be exposed to stressful situations or fears that made you panic in a repetitive and controlled manner. It will help to increase your coping power and you will not get panic by triggers. I would like to advise you to get enough sleep, take regular aerobic excersize, do mantle relaxation excersizes like Yoga and meditation. Join support group. Hope it helps best. Don't forget to rats this answer and close the discussion at healthcare Magic. Take your best care. Regards Dr Ejaz
