My son has WPW and after 2 Ablations the delta wave is back. After secon procedure two weeks later he had a normal EKG but it is now 3 months later and he passed out while driving and found out the Delta waves are back, Does any one have any suggestions. We are all discouraged.
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
I suggest you see a cardiologist again, there likely is some residual aberrant tissue leading the impulses around the AV node. This is probably treatable by ablation.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Anders Mark Christensen
