Hello,,
You are having a red bump on the foreskin of the penis. There are no bumps on the shaft and head of the penis. Bumps on the foreskin are indicative of
molluscum contagiosum, pearly penile papules (ppp), genital warts and
genital herpes, etc. Get clinically examined by a
Urologist. MC spreads through
skin infection. It can be spread through direct skin to skin contact, during sexual intercourse with an infected person. Avoid multiple partners.
It can also be due to sharing infected towels, linens, clothes, or other objects. Avoid using them. The bumps clear up by themselves. Antiretroviral treatment clears molluscum contagiosum. Skin lesions are also treated by freezing through liquid nitrogen. Pearly Penile Papules aren’t infectious or contagious. It is treated by laser therapy or electronic ionizer treatment.
Genital warts are also bumps on the foreskin. it is treated with
podophyllotoxin solution applied on genital warts located on the penile skin only. Genital herpes blisters occur under the foreskin & may take longer to heal as compared to other penile parts. It is treated with antibiotics and antivirals.
You can apply ointment
Soframycin or
Zovirax ointment for relief.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
