How To Treat Red, Swollen And Painful Nipple With History Of Hysterectomy?
My left nipple is very red, swollen and painful. There are also red lines going over my breast from the nipple area. I made a Dr appt with my family Dr for next week, but am worried it may be something very serious and maybe i shouldn t wait. I had a hysterectomy just about a year and a half ago after discovering a non cancerous tumor in/on my uterus , I am 45 years old.

I really appreciate your concern, the common condition would be formation of abscess and it need to be ruled out first till then indurated condition can be treated with "Tab Ibuprofen 400 mg" three times in day, it could be just skin lesion too, over all clinical examination is must for differentiation, hope this information may helps, tame care and have a nice day.
