How To Treat Redness And Skin Discoloration Caused Due To Peeling After Elbow Injury?

I burned my Adams just below the elbow on oven door it closed on me the left elbow area is a red brownish color hurts a little a little skin came off when I accidentally scraped it on the couch. Now the right arm the top layer of skin peeled off its red around the edges and tender and if I let it dry out it ties a yellowish color and its very very tender to touch or bumping it and I was told to keep putting thermazene on it by a friend cuz they think it s inflamed a little what do I do

Hello,

Discoloration of skin after injury can be treated with Soframycin cream or Castor oil. Thrombobhop ointment can be applied to reduce discoloration due to blood clots. Vitami E depigmentation cream is also effective. However, application of creams may take time (4-6 weeks or more) to completely reduce skin discoloration. Combining application of these creams with laser treatment is effective. You are suggested to get clinically examined by a dermatologist & get treated at the earliest.
