General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Redness and swollen labia what you are experiencing is due to mechanical inflammation caused due to rough intercourse.
Kindly wash the area with cold water thrice daily. After drying, you can apply hydrocortisone cream. You may also apply moisturizer cream or lotion at bedtime. Take antiinflammatory-analgesic medication Ibuprofen twice daily for 3 days.
Keep the area under good hygeine. Wear loose undergarments till symptoms subside. Avoid having intercourse till the symptoms subside completely.
Take care not to hurt yourself next time.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
