How To Treat Saliva Build Up At The Back Of Throat Along With Excessive Spit And Sore Throat?
When I swallow my saliva it fills like it s building up at the back of my throat and not going down. This makes me swallow more and after a while gives me a sore throat and sometimes I end up being sick but just bring up spit. It s been happing on and off for years and always at night.
hello, This if happening for years then there are more chances of it being due to reflux disease ie acid or food reflux from the stomach causing irritation in the food pipe and throat ie the larynx and so it is also known as laryngopharyngeal reflux. You need to take medicines for acidity and reflux disease4 like proton pump inhibitors like pantoprazole or omeprazole and in addition domperidom . which increases the motility. Take meals every 2 hrly avoid alcohol smoking and binge eating. In doubt do reply.
