I got my ears pierced in the first week in june. After the six week cleaning period I stopped cleaning my ears, but due to a friend telling me my posts they put in my ears had to stay in six months I never took them out. Every once and a while is I rotate the back of one of the studs and then leave it and do it a again a few hours later a clear crusty scab like thing this has been happening since I got them pierced several months ago....what should I do???
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have got ear piercing done 6 weeks ago , you feel sab behind ears which can happen due to carliginous infection/ ear infection. It will take 7-8 weeks for piercing to heal properly. Sometimes it is due to improperly sterilized instruments and sometimes due to improper cleaniness and cheap ear-rings. Need not to worry. You should apply antibacterial cream on it on daily basis for 1 week. You should remove ring once and get it cleaned to remove dirt. Visit ENT specialist once and get it examined if infection persists. Take proper course of antibiotics.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
