How To Treat Scratchy Throat With Pain While Swallowing And Brushing Teeth?

My throat hurts when I swallow anything . it s been like this for a couple days . it feels like it s scratchy . it bothers me to the point where I can t even brush my teeth or drink water ! can you please tell me what I have ? and what I can do about it ? Ps- this has happened to me several times . help me , please .

Hi and thanks for the query,
Looks like you have severe phayngitis - throat infection.
You can take pain killers.
Follow some general measures.
1) Drink plenty of fluids.
2) Do warm salt water gargling.
3) Avoid air conditioning and cold foods.
4)Get plenty of rest.
If you do not feel better in the next few days please pay a viait to your GP.
