How To Treat Seafood Mediated Stomach Pain And Diarrhea?
I had white wine and seafood casorole last night...However, this morning I had leftover of seafood casserole on toast. About and hour after that I had real bad stomach pain and dierea. I took gravol and it seems to get better but I can still feel it every once in a while....can this be food poisoning?
Your symptoms seem to be related to food poisoning. I recommend drinking plenty of food to avoid dehydration. Gravol is an antiemetic which is used to prevent and treat motion sickness.
Gradually begin to eat bland, low-fat, easy-to-digest foods, such as soda crackers, toast, gelatin, bananas and rice.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
