Pediatrician 's  Response
thanks for your question. i would need few answers.
1. did your baby cry at birth?
2. is there any developmental problem noticed so far?
3. any repeat eeg done as child required so many drugs to control seizure.
4. how does a seizure look like when occuring and is it on one side or body part to start with
5. have you ever got a video EEG done so far

usually febrile seizures get easily controlled. but this one is atypical type and we need above information to find out reason for not getting controlled.
he is been on oxcarbamazepine only for 1 month. may require another 1 month to show control. also child may require 2 drugs at a time. is levera been stopped?
kindly get back with this information.
