How To Treat Severe Abdominal Pain And Swelling After Uterine Rupture?

I had a uterine rupture and emergency c-section 7/12 and went in for severe stomach pain and swelling a few days ago and they said my endometrium was thick 5.7 cm .. says possible hemorrhage fluid or signs of infection because my white blood count was a little high also says something about remains of conception not entirely excluded .. I can t see my ob till the 6th bUT I m on so much pain the pain meds aren t working .. any advice??? Help

There is spillage of fluid in the peritoneal cavity. This is the inflammatory fluid and is causing the infection.

You need to cure this infection and all will be fine again.

As far as the retained products of conception is concerned, you definitely need expert care through your OB/GYN for that as there may be a need for the endoscopic evacuation.

For the infection you need to grab a prescription for Cephalexin and Fioricet with Codeine. You will be alright once this infection is resolved. You need to take care of yourself. Proper rest and taking a healthy balanced diet is the key to your good health.
