How To Treat Severe Eczema?

hi, my nephew is 11 months old with sever eczema. after a few months we were finally able to get into a dermatologist & get his eczema under control. she suggested we get into an allergist as well, which we are now in the process of finding a good one. however, just 2 months ago he started daycare & has been sick for 2 months with cold like symptoms. his pediatrician says, its normal, he ll be sick all winter now that he has started daycare. she has put him on 2 different anti-biotics which were 10 days each. he is still sick, with a fever. weve been in the ER several times because were worried about the fever issue, as the doctors in the ER were also worried. very disappointed with the pediatrician, were worried he may have a sinus infection now due to the fact that his mucas is changing color. any suggestions/advice/ideas?

Hi,

Your nephew seems to be atopic. There three problems which can occur are Atopic dermatitis,Hay fever and atopic asthma. Along with paediatrician, consultation with dermatologist is needed. After thorough examination and investigations,he may render the perfect medicines and also advise regarding the things which are the allergens responsible for the disease.

Hope this helps.
