How To Treat Severe Eye Pain Caused After Corneal Injury?

Good afternoon. In 2003, at work at a newspaper company, I cut my cornea, and I went crazy and had to go see an eye doctor, and he discovered a serious wound to my eye. He put me on steroids to help the wound, but he told me that the scar was permanent. I had suffered pain in my eye when I get up in the morning and rub my wounded eye. Does this means that I am vision impaired?

Hi
If this was an injury to the cornea, usually that heals without a scar

You wouldn't be considered vision impaired but for now you may need antibiotic eye drops
