I have (NON DIABETIC) NEUROPTHY, first onset the day after a total left hip replacement surgery!Severe NUMBNESS on balls of both feet, no other symptoms...YET!!. Seeing Neurologist for 8 months( on 600 mg gabapenton, 40 mg Cymbalta and pain meds, daily). No improvement at all!!! Very upset for many, many reasons...other health issues, etc. I DO NOT, NOT HAVE DIABETES! Feet symptoms worsening and in a lot of pain there and other, non related areas of my body. There has to be more we can do to manage this debilitating disease???I have researched causes a bit and it seems to be all about the destruction of the MYELIN SHEATHS SOMEWHERE.WHAT CAN I DO TO HELP REBUILD THOSE PROTEIN BASED SHEATHS!!!!I bought a product online(HAVE NOT OPENED BOTTLES OR TAKEN ANY YET) because they contain MASSIVE DOSES OF VITAMIN B1 B12 AND ALPHA LIPOIC ACID..PLEASE, WHAT MORE CAN I DO AND SHOULD I TAKE THOSE SUPPLEMENTS?Do you need more information? I have it.Thank you.George Pizzo
