How To Treat Severe Pain And Swelling In Legs Caused After Injury?

Hi. My mother fell down from the bed while she wz standing on it.She have swollen legs and svere pain in them. Luckily she have no bones problem but muscles affected.kindly suggest treatment. Cmng sunday is the marriage ceremony of my elder bro.so plz suggest the treatment to reduce pain and she cn walk on foot easily with in few days.

Hi,

Muscle pain can be reduced with pain killers like Ibuprofen taken twice a day. Muscle spasm if present may be treated with muscle relaxants like Chlorzoxazone. Complete rest to the affected limb along with hot fomentation will help in early recovery. Diclofenac gel can also be applied topically.
