How To Treat Severe Pain In Bottom Of Foot After Placing Screw?

Had a screw placed in my 5th metatarsal, 5days ago have severe pain in bottom of my foot as well as my ankle and incision sight, pain meds don t seem to ease it any, my surgeon said it s a tricky bone, just wandering should I b in this much severe pain, and will I have to go pain management after release from dr,?

You need to consult your orthopedist for management of pain. The nail may have to be re-placed to control the pain. In the meanwhile, you can take pain killers.
