How To Treat Severe Wheezing And Cough In Toddler? Levolin Syrup, Omnacortil And Inhalers Offering Little Help.

Hi Doctor,



my son(1.1 year old) is suffering from LRI for the past 3 months.He is having cough and veezing often.Currently we are using the Levolin syruo with omnacortil drops.Also we are giving him esiflow transhaler twice a day for the past two weeks.Still he ha not recovered.So could you please explain why does this condition persists till now also why he can not recover form veezing ang cough.

Hi,
The cough prolonged for 3 months indicates infection in addition to allergy. In such a case addition of an antibiotic ( Erythromycin suspention) would help..
I would advice you to consult a pediatritian for a physical examination ,investigations followed by assessment of the condition & treatment plan.
