Hi,

Herpes zoster or shingles is likely to relapse in an immunocompromised patient like this having colon cancer. Give him antiviral like tab acyclovir 800 mg thrice a day for few weeks.

Apply silver sulfadiazine cream on the affected areas. Pimple like lesions called acneform eruptions may be due to steroids. They might disappear after tapering the dose of steroids.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
