How To Treat Shortening Of The Leg After Hip Surgery?

Hi Dr Pravar,

My Father suffered from 5th grade sub-archnoid bran heamorrage followed by left side paralysis 4 years back. He was on his way of recovery, when he fractured his left hip (after a fall) - had a hip surgery.

There haas been a little shortening of the left leg.

My query is: He is still finding it difficult to walk to his own without our support. The doctors have ruled out the removal of the hip plate. We are not sure, if that is causing difficult in his walk. Also, what further can we do to help give him a better life and better mobility...any particular treatment we can follow?
