General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Sorry to hear of your problem. Swelling in left after bone fracture or surgery should be taken seriously. While mild swelling in both legs may be caused because of not moving the limbs or more fluids.

But if swelling on one side or more on one side should urgently be assessed to rule out any clot the limbs which are common after such surgeries and fractures.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mahboob Ur Rahman,
