How To Treat Shortness Of Breath Due To Exertion Inspite Of Taking Isosorbide And Verapamil?
I have shortness of breath upon exertion...half a block of walking. Lungs, heart and arteries all check out normal for y age (75). I am convinced that it is caused by my many blood pressure medications.Doctor won t pay attention to that. (The ultimate poo poo). I take isosorbide, losartan, verapamil as well as hydrochloric thiaside. Comment?

Its highly unlikely that it is caused by medication. U dint mentioned about 2d echo report.
I will suggest to u to go through it. As wid advancing age pumping capacity of heart decreases which is reflected as Ejection fraction In report.
If its below 40 percent that its the most common cause..
