How To Treat Skin Rash On Either Side Of Outside The Nose At Crease Where Nose Meets Cheek?
Hi , I have a skin rash either side of the outside of my nose at the crease where the nose meets the the cheek. It's red raised bumps which sometimes form a white head and each patch is no more than a fingernail in area. No sure how to treat it or what it is.
It seems you are having Seborrheic dermatitis, a kind of inflammatory condition of sebaceous glands with partial role of fungus as causative agent. Though, for definitive diagnosis you need a proper examination and thus a consult your dermatologist.
You can try applying a cream containing mometasone and terbinafine (Sebifin plus cream) twice a day gently over the affected areas for atleast 10 days. For itching you can take antihistaminics like levocetrizine as required.
Avoid pricking/picking/scratching of lesions.
Hope this will take care of your issue. Thank you Dr Hardik Pitroda
