How To Treat Sleep Disorder?

my grandma has been having some weird thoughts whenevr she s sleepy.all day long she s sleepy but whenevr we try to get her to sleep she just starts getting confused nd starts saying there s no place to sleep,i am nt laying down right even though she s perfectly positioned and all.then sometimes she continuously talks about whr wld i let these cubs sleep .these things seems very strange to us.she hardly sleeps at night,but sleeps all day

Another possibility is that your grandma is suffering from late onset psychotic disorder.

I think you should take your grandma to a psychiatrist for detailed evaluation. Also, a CT SCAN of head is advisable to rule out a brain lesion.

In such kind of symptoms she would require low dose of antipsychotics like risperidone in night.

This will improve her sleep as well she would be better oriented to surroundings.
