How To Treat Small Raised Itchy Bumps On Feet Caused Due To Insect Bite?

I have insect bites on the tops of my feet, around my toes that are some what clustered. the bumps are very small, raised and itch so badly that it will wake me up from a dead sleep. When scratching them they will let out a clear liquid and become a blister. What kind of bite are they and how can I get relief?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms seem to be related to an insect bite. I recommend using an antihistamine such as Cetirizine 10 mg to relieve the itching. I also recommend using an antihistamine lotion such as Calamine lotion for local application. Cold compresses can also be helpful.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
